摘要:吉林大学无机化学学科创建于1952年,至今已有70年历史,几代吉大无机化学人踔厉奋发、笃行不怠,一直为建设世界一流学科而努力奋斗。回顾了吉大无机化学学科的历史沿革和奋斗历程,并着重介绍了吉大无机化学学科在教材建设、课程建设、科技创新和人才培养等4个方面的卓越成就。谨以此文,致敬那些为吉大无机化学学科发展做出贡献的前辈、同事和同学们。

提出了一种广谱性的固相硼化策略,可以直接将廉价的金属片材(铁、钴、镍、镍铁合金、不锈钢)转化为高性能的水氧化电极材料。主要结论包括:
1、相比金属片,硼化的金属片活性提升一个数量级以上。
2、催化活性相是原位产生的、2-5纳米厚度的、偏硼酸根掺杂的MOOH。
3、硼化的镍铁合金片打破了水氧化催化剂本征活性的壁垒—<320 mV过电势实现10 mA/cmcat2,稳定性超过3000小时。
4、硼化可以显著提高材料的抗腐蚀性,廉价的富铁材料(硼化不锈钢)高效稳定催化水氧化反应。

继认定含“硼烯”亚单元结构的MoB2为高活性水裂解催化剂后,我们结合理论和实验,系统研究了12种含“硼烯”亚单元结构的金属二硼化物。得到如下结论:
1、催化活性存在一定的周期性:VIII>VIIB>VIB>VB>IV二硼化物;
2、d能带中心可以作为金属二硼化物的活性描述符;
3、预测并确认RuB2能呈现Pt一样的催化活性。
